What kinds of meals are available?
Every menu is nutritionally planned and includes a hot entrée, vegetable, salad, bread and dessert. With a doctor’s recommendation, we prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements. Click here to see current menus.
How does it work?
Meals are delivered between 11:30 and 12:30 each weekday. Frozen meals are available for weekends.Twenty-four hour notice is needed to initiate service for new clients.Meals are priced on a sliding fee scale based on an individual’s monthly income. No one is refused Meals on Wheels services due to an inability to pay.
How are we funded?
Meals on Wheels of Boulder is an independent locally operated not-for-profit organization. We receive no state or federal funding. In addition to the fees we receive from what clients are able to pay, we must raise nearly $14,000 more every month to continue providing this service to Boulder area residents.
