Volunteering for Meals on Wheels constitutes a serious commitment on your part! The service we provide our clients can sometimes be a life or death matter. We ask you to consider the seriousness of this position before volunteering.

It is ESSENTIAL you arrive at the designated time to fulfill your volunteer task. If you expect to be delayed, or if you are unable to volunteer during your scheduled commitment time, please call at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled volunteer time to allow us time to find a substitute. We understand there may always be extenuating circumstances, or last minute changes in your schedule, but nevertheless, we expect you will realize, we do not have the staff resources to fill in when volunteers forget or just don't show up to perform their other volunteer duties.
